UP UP GIRLS have released the MVs for their 24th single titled Ai Ai Fire!! / Watashitachi (with friends).
Out November 6th, the single will be released in 1 edition.

Kicking us off we have the fire packed MV for Ai Ai Fire!! and true to the title the MV is packed full of fire in a variety of shots. Taking place in a scrapyard, we get to see the members as they dance while pyrotechnics shoot out from behind them. Add in some shots of them acting cool while they look at bottles of water, dance with fans, and rub dirt on their cheeks and you have a good idea of what to expect.
So, we know that it’s a visual delight, but what about the song? It’s amazing. It manages to combine rapping lines with a fast paced instrumental that shows off the abilities of each one of the members. The sound is a bit more mature compared to their other releases, which is always a treat. By far this is among the best songs they’ve released this year.
As an added bonus, here is the bikini packed MV that was initially released for Ai Ai Fire!! It’s the same song but obviously there is a certain appeal that some fans are sure to appreciate:

Now that we’re all fired up, we have to calm down a bit and thankfully we get a rather chill rendition of Watashitachi featuring the members and some friends. It’s a more relaxed MV compared to the visual delight that was Ai Ai Fire!! simply because we get to see the members as they record in the studio and not much else.
There are scenes featuring other people as they sing into a microphone along with the members, which is a fun addition and one that shows off the fun tone of the song well. It won’t be the flashiest of MVs but it still has a place in my heart as a fun release for this single.
So, overall this single is one that shows that the 5-nin lineup is among the most powerful. They’re able to adapt to a wide variety of genres and thankfully it seems like they’re doing their best to continue this trend for their fans.
